Explanation in Natural Language of λ̄μμ̃-terms

چکیده
The λ̄μμ̃-calculus, introduced by Curien and Herbelin, is a calculus isomorphic to (a variant of) the classical sequent calculus LK of Gentzen. As a proof format it has very remarkable properties that we plan to study in future works. In this paper we embed it with a rendering semantics that provides explanations in pseudo-natural language of its proof terms, in the spirit of the work of Yann Coscoy [3] for the λ-calculus. The rendering semantics unveils the richness of the calculus that allows to preserve several proof structures that are identified when encoded in

A Logically Saturated Extension of λ̄μμ̃
This paper presents a proof language based on the work of Sacerdoti Coen [1,2], Kirchner [3] and Autexier [4] on λ̄μμ̃, a calculus introduced by Curien and Herbelin [5,6]. Just as λ̄μμ̃ preserves several proof structures that are identified by the λ-calculus, the proof language presented here aims to preserve as much proof structure as reasonable; we call that property being logically saturated. Th...
متن کاملFunctions as processes: termination and the λ̄μμ̃-calculus
The λ̄μμ̃-calculus is a variant of the λ-calculus with significant differences, including non-confluence and a Curry-Howard isomorphism with the classical sequent calculus. We present an encoding of the λ̄μμ̃-calculus into the π-calculus. We establish the operational correctness of the encoding, and then we extract from it an abstract machine for the λ̄μμ̃-calculus. We prove that there is a tight rel...
متن کاملExplanation of affecting factors on Perceptual organization pattern of district 1 of contemporary Tehran based on pattern language theory
District 1 of Tehran had experienced many changes during past few decades and much of these changes, had included few tangible matters, and never considered public’s concept of urban system pattern. The present study, tried to explain pattern language system of district 1 of Tehran, based Christopher Alexander’s theory of pattern language and adapt this theory to public’s concepts. This purpose...
متن کاملFocalisation and Classical Realisability
We develop a polarised variant of Curien and Herbelin’s λ̄μμ̃ calculus suitable for sequent calculi that admit a focalising cut elimination (i.e. whose proofs are focalised when cut-free), such as Girard’s classical logic LC or linear logic. This gives a setting in which Krivine’s classical realisability extends naturally (in particular to callby-value), with a presentation in terms of orthogonal...

realm of Quranic language, which from among Alame Tabatabiechr('39')s is the most comprehensive. He believes that the Quranic language is a mixture of various languages. The language of some of the Quranchr('39')s propositions is declarative and describes objective events – both tangible and intangible; five groups of Quranic verses are as stated below: Naturalistic verses: describe natural e...
